The "Intermountain Interlude" Northwest Section Meeting
October 9, 2022
On September 16, two groups of 99s each enjoyed a welcome event, either the dinner cruise on Lake Coeur D'Alene or the wine tasting at Coeur D'Alene Cellars. The following day we held the board meeting, annual business meeting, silent auction, and luncheon in the wonderful facility of the Historic Flight Museum. That was followed up by the Wings presentation by Amy Hoover, "Surviving the Unexpected: A Lesson from a Mid-Air Collision," which had the packed crowd on the edge of our seats. Some of us reconvened for dinner at Twigs in Spokane Valley that evening. Photos by Stacey Budell and Debi Liptrap.
As Section Meeting Chair Elsbeth Roach wrote on behalf of the hosting Intermountain Chapter: "Wasn't it good to start off the return of 'live action' Section meetings again? Even though our count was not up to par (a modest 32 members and 14 guests registered), we were thrilled to have you all there! We would have liked more time to relax and enjoy the social aspects of seeing long-time friends, but it was still wonderful to share what time we had."
