Announcing Lillian Mutch as winner of the 2026 Patty Mitchell Northwest Section of The Ninety-Nines Scholarship

We are excited to announce the winner of the 2026 Patty Mitchell Northwest Section of The Ninety-Nines Scholarship -- Lillian Mutch!

Lillian Mutch is a private pilot on the path to become a certified flight instructor. While working as a dental assistant, she is currently making progress on her instrument rating and commercial certificate and likes to assist with airplane maintenance when there is down time from training and work. Although aviation started as a hobby, Lillian now has her professional sights set on becoming a certified flight instructor and hopes to give back to her community by sharing flight with others. She serves as secretary for her local Oregon Pines chapter located in the Willamette Valley of Oregon and also as NW 99s Section Director to six chapters. When she's not flying, Lillian can be found on an outdoor adventure with her husband and two Australian Shepherd dogs.
